On 10th February, 2019- we received distress call from a good Samaritan informing us of an abandon child at university of Port Harcourt teaching hospital (UPTH) (name withheld) age-11yrs, ward- children surgical ward UPTH, diagnosis- Entero cutaneous fistula. parents abandoned child to his grandfather because of his health condition. MOHII visited the child and paid the hospital bills, and ensured that, the right medication was given, to the glory of god, the child is well and discharged home.
